If someone tries to help their fellow man,so many people throw this verse at them.
So anyone who is trying to make the world a better place will automatically be seen as a fraud.
Has the bible blocked and cast a shadow on people who want to change peoples lives or the world?

Jesus is telling Christians to beware of deception.
If people see genuine help as fraud, that is their loss. Don't waste your time worrying about those people.
Direct your help to people who accept it. There will be plenty who need and appreciate it.

Jesus was talking about false prophet such as tele preachers who make millions of dollars, while they are actully NOT of God.
For example, Benny Hinn, the pope, etc........all of those are false prophets.

This verse actually warns of false churches, who spread false messages they have made up. They do not know or understand the real word, and sometimes they do not even know this. I think that passage is actually warning you to be aware of those who THINK they're doing the %26quot;best thing,%26quot; but are really leading you away from God. Like people of other religions, or of other, ungodly beliefs. Yes,I suppose, if you take that to be the meaning of the verse.But,to me,I see it as meaning that you should watch out for those who would deceive you into believing lies that they were something that they were not.If your intentions are really to do good for someone then there is no contradiction as long as you don't let the right hand know what the left is doing.In other words by all means do good but don't expect any reward in the form of money or adulation.Realize that everything comes from God and everyone is a child of God and should be treated as such accordingly.See things in this way and you could change peoples lives for the better.Peace,Michael.
