People who don't want to make decisions for themselves will often run life changing choices by everyone they know...then if things don't work out, they can say they did it because %26quot;X%26quot; said they should, and accept no blame themselves for actually making the choice.

Sometimes people don't have any one else to talk to. It is a good way to get an unbiased opinion. sometimes they get the extra push to make the decisions that they are scared to make. eg. asking a guy out, not sure if someone likes them, should i leave him. those questions, always have a side to it that they don't reveal sometime. eg. being abused, not treated well, heartbroken. they might know the answer but are scared to make the decision because some of them are too in love to make that decision. even thought its bad for them and they know it, they sometimes just want the extra push and courage to move on or get started with life. Just to get others opinions. Sometimes your own head is spitting out so much crap, it is easier to let the computer spit it out for you. How often do you think people actually follow the advice? Why do people ask personal and life changing questions on yahoo answers ?
When people ask such questions, they're not looking for directions... they're just in need of different opinions before they make a decision.. no one decides based on yahoo answers... sometimes all they need is a cup of comfort.. such answers give them just that... and that's about it... for all you know, they make up with their partners and move on after that.. I've done that so many times before..
