Things have to change. Picture the world as it is this very second. Now think how it would be if everything stayed just this way for the rest of eternity. You wouldn't change or age, who's at war will stay at war, who is sick will stay sick, who is sleeping will stay asleep, who is hungry will stay hungry, etc....
There would be no reason to keep on living. Every day the same as the last, no hope for a better tomorrow.
