What one incident in you life as changed the way you view people.?

Has it made you view them in a better light or has it made you view some people in a poor light? What one incident in you life as changed the way you view people.?
Well, one I can think of off the top of my head is when I was 13 I was riding in a car with a bunch of my friends and we had been smoking pot and were all stoned. We stopped at a red light and an extremely obese disabled woman was slowly crossing the street on one of those personalized vehicles. All my friends were laughing and making fun of her, and I just didn't think it was funny at all, and thought it was sad and disgusting the way they were acting. Made me view my friends in a different light, help me to choose them better, and discouraged me further from ever making fun of someone disabled or different in the future.

Why is this posted in Law Enforcement %26amp; Police though? What one incident in you life as changed the way you view people.?
a paki once run my best mate over and then sped off in a hit and run...it turned out he had no licence, mot, insurance , oh and another thing he was a bloody illegal immigrant...kick them all out the country...no one wants them here!!!What one incident in you life as changed the way you view people.?
You mean all people right? I'll assume you're not saying a %26quot;people%26quot; as in referring to a particular race of people.

It hasn't been a single incident, but the daily sum of all of events I witness.

Thanks to my job I really only get to associate with two kinds of people, outside of my friends. Victims and their prey. Sadly enough, I spend far more time with the prey.

People can be true scum. They attack the weak and take advantage of good, ordinary people that just want to live life. Why are they breaking into their homes, robbing them at gunpoint, boot stomping them in front of the 7-11 for no reason whatsoever?

What gives them the right to do this? Is their self initiated addiction to a drug an excuse for robbery, assault and burglary? I think not. Is there poor home life and broken family a valid excuse for their predatory behavior? Nope.

I hope this is just a small portion of the %26quot;people%26quot; out there and I'm coming across the bulk of them and helping the rest, at least a little. What one incident in you life as changed the way you view people.?

No one incident....I try to see the best in people always. However, thats hard to do with some. Each and every meeting is an experience in itself....some are noteworthy, some are not so much. What one incident in you life as changed the way you view people.?
