How we can unite Like minded people?
My aim is to change peoples lifeHow we can unite Like minded people?
%26quot;Physician, heal thyself%26quot;
The rest flows naturally.
Trust in The Force, for everything is really one in disguise.
Separation is an illusion. How we can unite Like minded people?
You can unite people only on a common platform like Religion, Language and on a common issue...How we can unite Like minded people?
By voting for liberals. How we can unite Like minded people?
First rule, they change their lives ... you do not do it for them, because that is considered Manipulation and is wrong. Okay, they need change. You see that clearly. But what you do is provide the information they need to change. When they take the information, you have done your best. This is a tough part of life, accepting that people are who they are and the only ones to change that is themselves. Sooo, what information to give them? Depends on the problems. Anger management, AA, birth adoption info, college catalog, etc.
The true answer to your exact question is Like Minded People Are United By What They Have In Common. For example, sometimes two enemies will adore a grandchild. Opponents will have a common cause such as preserving a wilderness area will unit hunters and hikers.
Good luck.

For those of you who call people "retards", last night changed my life.?
%26quot;Retard%26quot; is a very commonly mis-used word.
I used to say it all of the time, not in an offensive way making fun of mentally retarded people, but just using it as a casual remark. For instance %26quot;Wow, this is retarded!%26quot;, %26quot;Oh-em-gee I'm so retarded!%26quot;
Last night, I went with my two best friends to an arcade/pizza place.
There was this giant claw machine, with giant stuffed animals in it.
One of my friends and I won a stuffed animal out of there, so later on we came back to it to try to get my other friend a toy.
They fell behind as I was walking towards the claw machine, but I kept going.
When one of my friends caught up with me, we saw this man, in hiker boots and shorts, a camera around his neck, and he was playing the claw machine very seriously.
I started to whisper to my friend %26quot;Is he like the claw machine Master or something?%26quot;
He rounded the corner all the way around it, I heard cheering coming from a woman and someone who sounded like a toddler when the claw picked up a big bear, but then it dropped it and the man didn't get the giant toy.
I walked up to the claw machine, and started helping my friend with it so she could win something. The same man walked around next to us, and started talking to someone on the other side.
I guess I looked at him funny cause I didn't know who he was talking to, and he said %26quot;Sorry! I was just talking to my daughter.%26quot;
I noticed a girl, about my age (13), GORGEOUS face, BEAUTIFUL hair, and she was handicapped in a wheelchair.
She had this plastic brace around her torso, strapping her in, her hands were kind of curled upwards a little bit, and her mouth was wide open with a huge smile. She had some drool dripping from her mouth, too.
After my friend and I stopped with the claw machine, my other friends mom walked up, and started to try to get something out of it.
I looked over at the handicapped girl's family, the dad was telling his girl that they would try to get her a stuffed animal later.
The biggest look of disappointment and confusion struck her face.
Then, my friend's mom walked over, and gave the girl one of the giant teddy bears.
She had won it, for her.
The look on the girls face was indescribable.
It made me think: we always use the word %26quot;retarded%26quot; like its nothing. Imagine how the FAMILY would feel, having their daughter be like that. Imagine how HARD it would be to grow up a normal life.
And imagine if you had someone like that in your family.
Some people might not find this as moving as I did, but I guess if you were there and watching it happen it would be life-changing.

a lot of reading and no question. this sort of thing is what blogs are for.For those of you who call people %26quot;retards%26quot;, last night changed my life.?
Wow you sound really smart and level-headed.It really makes me think...how could I say that?I feel horrible for ever misusing it.You're right, if I had a family member like that it would be terrible to hear someone practically mocking it. For those of you who call people %26quot;retards%26quot;, last night changed my life.?
Omg.
Thats just..wow
I always say the word
I guess I just have to think twiceFor those of you who call people %26quot;retards%26quot;, last night changed my life.?
Ya I don't think I will say that againFor those of you who call people %26quot;retards%26quot;, last night changed my life.?
I agree. I have a disabled cousin who uses braces on his legs. Society shunned him. He's picked on by his class on a daily basis and even though he has no damage in his brain and he's actually very smart, his classmates call him a retard. He's one of the brightest kids I know and he won't accept the fact that he's fine, but physically disabled. Also, I have a friend, in his twenties who's mentally handicapped. He's one of the sweetest guys I know. I didn't realize his condition until I started to talk to him and got to know him well. I don't insult people for the fun of it, but things slip sometimes. I won't use that word anymore...For those of you who call people %26quot;retards%26quot;, last night changed my life.?
The girl probably had cerebral palsy and may not have been retarded at all. Not using the word retarded is a good thing but do not assume that everyone who is disabled is also a %26quot;retarded%26quot; person. Many people are severely disabled and have very sharp minds even though they appear and express themselves as if they don't.For those of you who call people %26quot;retards%26quot;, last night changed my life.?
This is so refreshing. People don't realize the impact that it has on others when they throw around terms like retard and stupid. I don't allow it to be used in my house. I am so happy that you experienced a life changing event like this. You will find that you are a much better person. For those of you who call people %26quot;retards%26quot;, last night changed my life.?
after reading and answering so many questions here this one will stick with me.Just to know that there is still some kindness in this crazy world we live in makes this so refreshing. Thanks for bringing something human to this form. For those of you who call people %26quot;retards%26quot;, last night changed my life.?
i'm so glad you took the time to notice this special girl. you should be prud of yourself. my partner is disabled he was born with his disability and now is a permanent wheelchair user due to amputation of both his legs hrough the knees and it really gets me down when people stare and whisper and laugh, teenagers adults and kids who are so full of ignorance. i always wondered if they ever thought about it. if they had disabled children would the laugh and jeer at them? no, they would protect them from the ignorance of others. i appreciate you taking your time to write what you did. you are an inspiration to me and have given me a glimmer of hope that not all people out there are so unkind. I hope that other people read this and get inspiration from you and the next time they think of using that word or sneering at a disabled person they actually think %26quot;what if that happend to me or my children of my family%26quot;. Thank you you have truely made my day. : )For those of you who call people %26quot;retards%26quot;, last night changed my life.?
I'll try to stop,
it's just like how i don't use gay or f** (never used the f one) anymore, it's just terrible how people don't even seem to care,What duvet cover would go best How do I wash and dry my duvet cover

Do you wish that everything in life stayed the same and not worry about inevitable changes?
Normally you prefer to live a very comfortable life and not worry about making too many changes in your life. You wonder why things change all the time and that would scare a lot of people. The world doesn't make sense sometimes and you wonder why people change so much.I would rather live comfortably and not have any worries in the world about making too many tough decisions to change your life. Its better to live stress free life.Change of life really sucks.Do you wish that everything in life stayed the same and not worry about inevitable changes?
If we didn't have change, we could never grow. Soon you would be bored with your life!Do you wish that everything in life stayed the same and not worry about inevitable changes?
I understand what you're saying here. I have lost close friends and loved ones to cancer. The changes in my life without them in it are extremely sad. I know my life will never be the same. Then, as you age, things are changing all the time. But, we need to learn to adapt and accept all changes Sweetie. Hopefully you will find a life partner to go through the tough times with. One where you will support, uphold and encourage one another. One where the world need not make sense to you just because you have each other to get through it all. This is my wish for you. To find a dear and loving soul mate.Do you wish that everything in life stayed the same and not worry about inevitable changes?
not really... Change can be good but it depends on what it is and why...you can create any type of life you want if you take action and seek opportunities to make things happen... it's how you perceive situations as to how happy you can be. Many successful people have to take steps to create an environment that's livable for them... and lots of bad situations that are caused by a change of some sort can sometimes influence other aspects of life to be positive... I think change makes us appreciate what we have and keeps us working toward having a better life if it's nurtured in the right way...
but things change and we just have to roll with the punches sometimes...

If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
I think it is impossible to change the world, and injustice and negativity are impossible to eliminate.
I think it would be a lot healthier if people just relaxed and stopped worrying about saving the environment, curing AIDs and breast cancer and eliminating poverty. You can never make life in the world perfect. Why can't more people realize that and stop being stupid? If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
Perfection is impossible--but what is perfect is striving for betterment and being ideal individuals. The only way to change the world is to come together in union all egos aside and agree. Reality is what it is. My focus in life isn't necessary changing the world, but rather changing my world. By changing my immediate world, the world of those around me will also change. But I have to first start with myself. Realize my flaws and imperfections, take responsibility, and strive to live with all the goodness of my soul. Life is a circle. The mind is a powerful tool. Harness it and you will be amazed. If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
Stupid you say? stupid is as stupid does. How can you say oh just accept that the environment is screwed and do not worry about aids and breast cancer and eliminating poverty.
What kind of nut are you. close your eyes and it will go away.
Well I am going away goof ball.If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
As I often say:
%26quot;What has Reality ever done for me?%26quot;If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
There will always be those who disagree with you and that actually is a good thing. Without those who are unwilling to accept the idea that we live in the best of all worlds we could never move forward as a society or even as a species.
On the other hand, if such an attitude was widespread no one would ever accomplish anything in the day to day existence.
As a result, society needs a healthy balance of both approaches. Without either one we would come to a standstill. If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
While these things you have mention may not be fixed in our lifetime, what we do now has a direct bearing on the future. One person can change the world. Their impact may be small, but the repercussions of their choices and actions may end up affecting the world for years to come. I would rather try to change what I see as wrong with the world, than sit idly by and let things come what may.If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
Young people have always rebelled against the evils and hypocrisy of the world, and I hope that they always will. IN the 60's we fought against the pollution of our country and the Vietnam War. The war was ended, and the pollution was greatly reduced. If we all had your attitude, we would be drinking filthy water, breathing toxic air, and are life expectancies would be less than our parents was.
Now many patriots are fighting against the illegal alien invasion of our country, and WE WON'T BACK DOWN! We will save America. If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
What? I am flabbergasted that this question encompasses so much negativity.
We can never relax while there is still oppression in the world, Keeping you own yard clean is a wonderful start. As for AIDS and cancer, there will be a cure. Poverty is almost nil in the USA and if we are passionate about changing that, then why can't we try to help people out of poverty by giving them the tools and skills it take to succeed. In the meantime if we all give to charities, then that's a start.
It is not stupid to have a dream of a better world Martin Luther King did and things changed. Columbus did and discovered a new world. Jonas Salk, Marie Curie, Mother Theresa, and many more than are known and unknown. Certainly you wouldn't call them stupid, or would you?If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
I try to change the world every day by being nice to everyone. Holding the door open for a stranger, helping someone carry their groceries to the car, etc. Every act be it simple or large is significant and is worthwhile.
If your focus in life on changing the world or accepting it for what it is?
To change the world for the better of mankind.
Its in us to make things better,
Thing change in us over time,
If we just accepted life, sinner would be sinner, killers would stay killers,
Cause and efffect would nolonger exist.

How can somebody make positive changes in their life while other people stand on their back and assume way too?
The first step is to fully accept one's current situation and then decide to strive toward perceived positivity, rather than lamenting one's current state and losing hope that things can be changed.
Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I'm suffering from the same thing?
How on earth do I get rid of this fear of change? Why am I so paralysed with fear just because I want to change my life for the better?I mean, where on Earth does this fear come from? Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
Fear comes from thinking about the unknown. It may help us to accept change if we are aware of the reason for the change. Try to think of the positives - if you intend to change something in your life, is it going to make you feel better. Is there somebody you can discuss this with - not necessarily for them to give you advice - merely to listen to you. It is sometimes a good way for you to come up with answers yourself. Good luck and try not to be too scared of the future. Consider change as a journey, with different turnings and roads to be taken. I am sure you will reach your destination. Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?

I cant quite explain i to you, since english isnt my first language, but i can try.
you are human and this fear, although is smth you dont understand,is something that you yourself created.it is because you dont know whats going to happen next.even if you think its going to be better, you still know you cant be sure 100%,and that gives you the creeps-unconsciously,you start asking yourself the question-what is better, now or change?and you become insecure.another thing is,most of us are usualy stable with their lives, used to them, and changing completely, even for better,is quite scary. one way to overcome your fear-go with the flow, and dont try to change time yourself-at least that way you will blame it on fate, not on yourself! Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
its a big decision but if you have your sights set on what you know is going to be good for you then go for it the fear will vanishWhy are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
U FEAR OF CHANGES?? dude, changes can be good and sometimes can be bad..it depends on what changes u will make..if u're going to change for example..from a smoker to non-smoker..then that's A GOOD CHANGES!!..but if u're going to change from a normal guy to a fear-of-changes-guy...AND THAT's NOT GOOD,dude! just think and make ur conclusion..and try to overcalm ur FEARS..;)Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
Just keep pushing your self one day you're going to say what the hell was I worried about and do it. Just keep pushing and you'll start to see results. Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
Fear of loss can play a part in this.
Try to remind yourself that whatever you are losing is being changed for something better.

Cause it is a move to the unknown, what helps for most is planing and also sharing the feel with others seeking reassurance by someone who can and will support you in the change.
This is a basic fear in every human, but you must note that fear is not necessarily a bad thing as long as it dasnt become panic, fear makes you more awe of things makes you more careful. Just don't let it direct your life. Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
Change is always hard. I think we as people like to get to a comfortable place in our lives and then stay there. Change may mean uprooting yourself and moving to a new place, breaking up with someone we know isn't really making us happy or changing our groups of friends for the better. Even though you are trying to change your life for the better, it is still hard because it means that the things or people around us will change. Starting over can be a wonderful stepping stone to a more productive life and can bring new adventures and experiences that will make us better and our lives better. I think most people like being in that comfort zone. Personally, my life has been a roller coaster of changes but most all of them have improved my life. Look at it as an exciting new chapter in your life, a new beginning and new things to experience. When we get too set in our comfort zone, our lives can become stagnant and boring. Life really is about growing and changing throughout your life. Each change can be a step closer to fulfilling your dreams and becoming a better, more knowledgeable person. Try to look at making changes as a positive in your life. Fear of change is normal, but instead of fear, try to turn that fear in to excitement about what new things will happen to you with the changes that are coming. I have found that nothing stays the same forever, not people, not the world around us, so embrace change and start a new adventure in your life for the best, Good luck to you.Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
Change is an ongoing process.... It's happening right now. Each of us is aging (a change), experiencing some aspect of life (which is subtly changing us), getting fat (or thin), etc., etc. Whether you see it or not, your life is already changing with every moment that passes.
It is the mind that tries to abide in one place, trying desperately trying to hold on those things we know. To hold on to those things that provide a sense of security.
Now if you can accept that everything is already changing.... Then, accept that you can choose to influence how things change around you. If you want to change yourself.... TAKE ACTION.Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
personally, I think that I fear doing things that make me comfortable, even though I want to change, to better myself and be a better example seeing that it is hard to find a good example, It's just that I have done things so long and it some how became a part of my being happy, even though after I do things I am not happy, I don't think it's fear, I think that you are knowing what you have to let go in order to change, and that's hard, so that you may be afraid of, letting go of the old to bring in the new, and that is hard for me as I speak, real talk

It is normal to fear uncertainity and unfamiliar forthcomings which of course you dont know if what follows would be worse than the innitial.
It is like diving into unclear waters to in search of a treasure that could bring good living for the rest of your life. Even after being assured it is fine down there - and you havent seen anyone do it before.
The fear is from uncertainity and insecurity. Have you studied animals? WHEN A FOUL GETS INTO A NEW TERRAIN, IT LIFTS ONE OF ITS LEGS UP and after familiarizing itself with the place it feels safe and brings down the leg. That fear is reflex
All you need is faith. Believe in yourself, be optimistic and caurageous and know that Life itself is a risk, know that God is watchin, then TAKE THAT PLAUNGE thats the only way to find out whats in there. Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
I feel exactly the same way - whenever I think about changing something dramatic I begin to feel extremly stressed and anxious. This fear comes from the unexpected, the fear of the unknown we feel safe and secure if we follow the same routine and do the same activities. Be strong and try to change just something little each day, these small changes will soon add up and hopefully, reduce your fear when you see how far you have come!!Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
Most people fear the unknown. Changing one's life is a gigantic step, one never knows let alone be sure of whether the change will end up being better, or worse; the latter possibility is the root of the fear.

Just keep pushing your self one day you're going to say what the hell was I worried about and do it. I don't know where the fear comes from but I know the more you think about it the less you are afraid of it. Just keep pushing and you'll start to see results. Why are people so scared of changing their lives?I want to change mine, but I%26039;m suffering from the same thing?
Fear of loss can play a part in this.
Try to remind yourself that whatever you are losing is being changed for something better.
