Your lover simply doesn't come into it sorry...Lol

Do people change based on life events or do they change because they feel they have to.?

The birth of a son or daughter.

The death of a family member.

Leaving a gang for the bettering of your children.

Do people change based on life events or do they change because they feel they have to.?
In most cases life events change ppl becasue it changes their preceptions of things for the future. Some ppl choose to change becasue they feel they have to, but generally one can still attribute some life experience for their change in attitude.

Why do people who fool around with life early regret it when it is too late?

I don't get it. Don't people ever learn from that %26quot;Nobody cares%26quot; quote that appears in the film %26quot;A Bronx Tale%26quot;. many people change at a point when it is not worth it anymore. A point where the damage has already been done. Nobody cares about a person who wasted most of their life purposely. i guess you people would help me understand this question. please no remarks that would be considered offensive. that is just rude. Why do people who fool around with life early regret it when it is too late?
Wisdom comes with age.Why do people who fool around with life early regret it when it is too late?
Erm, because your question is under %26quot;philosophy%26quot;, so I'm not sure if my answer will be relevant ... But this is what I feel ...

When people fool around with life earlier on, they're young and have a greater sense of %26quot;individualism%26quot;, they do what they're happy with, thinking that they will be able to cope with whatever that comes along later on ... It's like a %26quot;principle%26quot; of %26quot;no regrets%26quot;, they do what they want. But little do they know the gravity of the situation, sometimes.

And the reason why people have the least sympathy for people do do this is because they feel it's a tit-for-tat kind of situation.

They had fun once and now they have to pay for their own irresponsible actions. It's an assumption that these people who fool around were adviced before and it's a choice that they made, to fool around ...Why do people who fool around with life early regret it when it is too late?
because it's much easier to fool around and not care, I guess. that's just the way humans are. maturity always comes later usually.

and if it wasn't for those earlier experiences (especially the mistakes) do you think they'd feel any more than complete as they are now? the mistakes we've made in our life are somewhat like %26quot;fulfillments%26quot; too that satisfy our curiosities and helps us distinguish right from wrong better.

I even remember a lesson from grade school days that we should try to fail at least once.. you know because if all we had is success, we wouldn't really learn that much. some amount of mistakes are also essential.

but yeah the problem with some of them is that their realization came too late. Why do people who fool around with life early regret it when it is too late?
Even if you change later in life it's not a waste. Changes like that are made not for other people, but for yourself. So even if %26quot;the damage is already done%26quot; then your efforts aren't all for nothing. It's trial and error. Sometimes it takes a while before you find the right way to handle things. I think bettering yourself isn't ever something done in vain. Why do people who fool around with life early regret it when it is too late?
Personally, I don't agree that no one cares about people

who have wasted their lives purposely. I disagree for

so many reasons that I couldn't name them all here.

People, I feel, do what they know to do. When we know a

better way, we do things in a better way. When I say this

I'm not speaking of knowing something intellectually. I am

talking about knowing it at gut level.

There have been things, and still are other things, that I knew

intellectually for years before I actually %26quot;got it!%26quot; When that

ah ha moment happened, it changed everything inside me.

At that point I could make different choices. It felt as tho

I didn't just have the information in my head but

more as tho I knew it down to my toes.

It felt at that point very organic and it wasn't really very

hard to change directions then and make better choices.

People who have no empathy for people who are %26quot;wasting

their lives%26quot; usually don't have enough experience or maybe

maturity to ask why this is happening.

None of us are totally alike in the resource we have or had

to learn various things. Those resources could be financial,

environmental, social, the way our brains are wired as well

as about a million other things.

I used to have a sign on my desk at work that said, %26quot;Don't

    judge me til you've walked a mile in my mocassins.%26quot;

In my opinion, it is always worth it to make positive changes,

regardless of what has gone before, regardles of how old you

are. It is always worth it. And that person is worth it.Why do people who fool around with life early regret it when it is too late?
If a person realises they need to change, it is worth it to the individual especially if they can see they need too. If it makes them become a better person, why not change. Change is forever happening and big ups to those if it means to better themselves regardless of the damage they have done. Life was there to be lived and we all have made mistakes at times and either we learn early or later or not at all.

Have you ever had a life changing experience?

Like......Have you ever had a near death experience that changed your outlook/mentality on life for the better?

Or say for example you visited a pretty poor part of Africa and seen for yourself how some people live on a daily basis, then you return home very humble and don't take things for granted?

You know, anything like thatHave you ever had a life changing experience?
I had some pretty horrifying experiences on 9/11. Since then, I've been cynical, negative and developed pretty serious depression.

    However, I did come out as a more empathetic person and I now take nothing for granted. So now I do a lot of volunteer work, treat those around me much better and take more time to %26quot;stop and smell the roses.%26quot;

EDIT: oh yeah.... I almost forgot... I'm terrified of airplanes, heights and high rise buildings now... which isn't very good considering I live in NYCHave you ever had a life changing experience?
Not like a near death experience or anything. A couple of summers ago I was working n a holiday centre for underprivileged children who go there because their parents can't afford holidays.

Seeing how incredibly difficult life was for them really opened m eyes to what some people go through. These kids were all between 6-13 and had gone through more than I could ever imagine. We had to drop one boy home because he was being too aggressive towards the other children, and we figured out why when we got to his house. His mum had just pinned a note to the front door basically saying she didn't want him back and to either take him back to the centre or leave him with a neighbour because she was tired of having him around.

That made me appreciate my family so much more.Have you ever had a life changing experience?
I used to shag around alot, i once had a foursome with a hot chick. After few days, my dicck started hurting, when i was pisssssing, the colour was bright yellow, which is strange. the top part of my helmet, was in pain. So i tel my best mate the situation, he says to me go to sex clinic. So i went there, they took my pisss sample and blood sample, then gave me a pack of condoms. I was well excited, free condoms, not bad eh.

After 2 weeks i get a call to say im fine, there is nothing wrong with me, but recommended me to be careful and always wear protection.

This has been a life changing experience for me, i dont want spots on my bull bags or AIDS, sh*t like that.Have you ever had a life changing experience?
Charity changed my life, it made me understand what I have.

Being raped changed my life, it taught me to be stronger.

Seeing my dog die made me realize how fragile life is.

St. Thomas' oceans changed my life, it taught me about natural beauty still left in the world.

Lots of things can change your life, just have to pay attention!Have you ever had a life changing experience?
every time I go out and take drugs :) in moderation of course. there is nothing like magic mushrooms or LSD for turning over new leaves/finding answers within yourselfHave you ever had a life changing experience?
I visit the pits every time I close my eyes and they are from all over I think and i hate it its horrible seeing the sufferingHave you ever had a life changing experience?
no, only life changing as it changed my life to ****.Have you ever had a life changing experience?
The second time I took acid was life changing...but I smoke weed so much that I can't remember what it was like.Have you ever had a life changing experience?

Can we change poor people life by giving normal fix sallary to all people?

to avoid one people is highest in economic and other is very lowCan we change poor people life by giving normal fix sallary to all people?
Uh, that's called communism dude. No thank you!Can we change poor people life by giving normal fix sallary to all people?
You mean wealth redistribution which means communism? It does not work my friend. Read your history books. You are always going to have those that don't want to work as hard and make it in life. Why should they get the money of those who strive hard to make a good life for themselves? Can we change poor people life by giving normal fix sallary to all people?
Where does the money come from???Can we change poor people life by giving normal fix sallary to all people?
the problem with this theory is that it makes people not strive to reach the best.

Tell me this, if you have the choice of going to school for 8 years, becoming a doctor, and you find out your getting paid the same as a janitor who dropped out of highschool, would you really want to become a doctor?

Its all about there being a reason to strive to be the best, if theres no reward theres no point.

People come up with innovation to better there lifes, and usually this day that means money. There would be no xbox360, ipod, fast computers, ect ect if it wasn't for profit. Can we change poor people life by giving normal fix sallary to all people?
It would not work because then people would have no incentive to improve their life by working harder. I know I wouldn't want to be an accountant anymore if I got the same salary as if I layed in bed all day. To answer your question, it would change everyone's life because society would collapse. Can we change poor people life by giving normal fix sallary to all people?
WTF. This is socialism. I'm pissed now.Can we change poor people life by giving normal fix sallary to all people?
then Walmart wouldn't be able to sell cheap s h i t and we'd get p'd off because we'd have to spend more. Can we change poor people life by giving normal fix sallary to all people?
Good intention but bad idea. Rich people are rich because they work hard and are productive. Poor people are poor because they are lazy, dead weight for society to bear. There are exception of course but if you give all of the money to the poor, within 10 years it will go back to the riches. The poor people only know how to spend money, they don't know how to make money.

  • I am writing an essay on how people houses change as our life change. few volunteers please?

    the question is

changes of the ordinary people's life which affected the houses they live in today.

also if you think i'l posted this in the wrong category please inform me. thx

i'm studying architecture and i'm writing an essay on vernacular architecture and in one of the questions i am asked is; how our homes change/ affected as our lives change. in terms of becoming more modernized.

if some people could give me some examples i would very much appreciate it. its all research am doing at the moment.I am writing an essay on how people houses change as our life change. few volunteers please?
so what you mean is as the houses became more modernised the people inside them where affected???

If that is the same line of thought you require, my mum [not that old] can recall it was her job to blacken the doorstep every week, empty out the fire place daily and either hand wash the family wash or take it down to the local laundry..........

Basically as thing became easier / more streamlined then it would stand to reason that peoples lives within the houses would get easier, yet from what I see people spend less and less time in their homes than ever before.
